B. Information Collected from Experts Automatically
We use tools and services to automatically collect information from your devices and through our platform while you perform Services:
- Service Integrity & Activity Verification Data ("Integrity Data"): To ensure the security of Client projects and validate active service hours, our proprietary software and authorized third-party tools collect technical interaction data while you perform Services. This includes:
- Activity Verification Metrics: Data regarding your engagement with the Services, such as application usage logs, input interaction rates (e.g., mouse and keyboard activity levels), and active session time to validate billable work.
- Screen Recording: We may record your full screen during Task performance. Screen recordings capture all visible applications, windows, and on-screen activity. Screen recordings are used for quality assurance, compliance verification, prevention of fraudulent activity, and investigation of suspected policy violations. Screen recordings are accessible only to designated Company quality assurance and compliance personnel. Screen recordings are not accessible to other contractors or personnel. A visual indicator is displayed when screen recording is active.
- Biometric Monitoring: During Task performance, we may use your device camera to verify your identity and presence. This includes facial geometry data, eye tracking data, and presence detection. Where indicated, use of the webcam is mandatory for Task performance. Biometric data is used for prevention of fraudulent or non-compliant activity, identity verification, and quality assurance.
- Note: You are notified when Integrity Data is being collected. This data is processed strictly for prevention of fraudulent activity, payment verification, quality assurance, and security and terms compliance.
- Expert Training and Meetings: We may facilitate the recording of audio and/or video during online meetings between Experts and Clients using third-party services (e.g., Zoom) for training purposes. Notification of recording will be presented during the meeting.
- Automatic Data Collection on our Sites: When you navigate our Sites, we automatically collect your Internet protocol (IP) address, user settings, browser/device details, installed plugins, security posture (e.g., presence of prohibited automation software), operating system, pages visited, and how you interact with the Services (e.g., frequency and duration of activities).
- Cookies and Analytics: We and third-party providers use cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to collect information about engagement on the Services.
C. Information We Collect From Third Parties
We may obtain information about you from other sources:
- Screening and Payment Vendors: If you opt-in for an identity verification or background check, our vendor may provide us with certain personal information, including the results of the identity verification. Our payment vendors also provide us with tax documentation, such as your taxpayer identification number, related to payments made to you.
